A manufacturing client of ours known as a global supplier of stamped metal components and assemblies in Avon, OH searching for a 2nd shift CNC Programmer. 

2nd shift hours: 3:30PM - 12:00AM

Duties of a CNC Programmer:

• Personally operating electronic or other machinery
• Operating machine controls (other than transport)
• Stopping machinery at precise point indicated
• Adjusting machines
• Setting up equipment or machinery for operation
• Regulating speed of machinery (other than transport)
• Dismantling apparatus or machinery
• Assembling apparatus, etc.
• Cleaning or oiling machinery
• Regular checking of machinery for maintenance
• Examine machinery/equipment to check working order
• Proof reading printed material / Verifying the accuracy of calculations
• Examining drawings to check all information included
• Checking documentation, Checking correct recording on computer printout, Checking correct recording in reports, documents, etc.

Job Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience
• Mastercam or programming experience with 5 axis mills 

Preferred: 

• Rudimentary knowledge of metallurgy
• blueprint reading
• knowledge of manufacturing process at overview level
• machining
• basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• know-how in the use of precision measuring instruments and maintaining close tolerance
• Knowledge of die theory
