Experienced CNC Operator & Lathe Programmer 
1st Shift

CNC Operator Experience?  We've Got The Job for You!

An Aerospace Machine Shop located in Azusa is in need of a CNC Operator/ Lathe Programmer set up person.

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00AM-2:30PM
• $25-$35/ Hour, depends on experience
• Temp to Hire

Description:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed
• Compute dimensions and tolerances from conventional blueprints and CAD drawings using Mastercam
• Be able to design in Mastercam and be proficient in Three, Four and Five Axis programming
• Write programs for a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce precision parts Ability to work with tight tolerances Ensure dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance
• Provide set-up drawings and tool lists for machine tool operator
• Able to write programs for various CNC equipment

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent 
• 5 years machine shop experience that includes machine programming with CNC & MILL in aerospace industry
• CNC programming in Mastercam is desirable
• Experience with lathe toll holding and tooling Familiar with using QC equipment to validate parts against drawings
• Solid Works or Solid Edge is a plus and/or willingness to learn Solid Edge
• Proficient in Mastercam and Three, Four and Five Axis programming
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Fanuc control and Mitsubishi control a plus
• Ability to lift 50lbs (Moving work holdings/Raw Material)
