Position Summary:

 

Under limited supervision, perform more complex mechanical assembly operations.

 

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

 

  1. *Perform sub assembly and/or final Mechanical assembly 95 % and Electrical 5% tasks.
  2. Provide input for design improvements and develop assembly techniques.
  3. Work from detailed blueprints and verbal and written instructions.
  4. Interpret ECNs (Engineering Change Notice), ECOs (Engineering Change Order), and TDs (Temporary Deviations).
  5. Perform engineering changes and rework.
  6. Update and maintain work center shortages
  7. Process ECPs (Engineering Change Proposal), and others.
  8. Perform in-process and final inspection.
  9. Fill-up Assembly travelers for completion and enter data electronically on a database.
  10. Perform tasks in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
  11. Train and assist Mechanical Assembler Cs.
  12. Status supervisor and/or lead as appropriate.
  13. Perform other duties as required.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:   None.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Experience: Two years related mechanical experience.

 

  • Education: High School degree or equivalent.
