ResourceMFG is looking for a Code Welder a company in Evans, CO. The role is starting right away for a great candidate.
Day Shift- Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm
Pay: $25.hr
Code Welder Duties:
Plans layouts and assembles and installs metal parts, equipment, and products according to company specifications and blue prints.
Position requires a wide range of welding skills including light tacking to heavy flat, up weld, and overhead weld according to ASME Codes. Operate a variety of power tools including, but not limited to saws, grinders, drills, welders, and overhead cranes. Must be able to comply with company safety policies, keep work area clean, and possess the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Other related duties as assigned.

Welding test! As follows below:
Weld Test
3G Plate - We have 2 pieces of ½” SA-516-70 plate that have been beveled for a groove weld. See below that the 3G position is more of a vertical position. It is not just laying flat. We weld it at about 15 degrees.
This 3G test qualifies you for flat and vertical.
6G Pipe - We use 2 pieces of 2” SCH 80 SA-106B Pipe that have been beveled on the inside for a groove weld.
This 6G qualifies you for all positions.
1G Plate – This would be the same as the above 3G plate test but it is given laying flat (as shown below) instead of at an angle.
This would only qualify you for the flat position.
You can either do a bend test to check the weld or x-ray it. We do a bend test on them.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed
