Description

Remedy is looking for a Repair Technician at one of the leading manufacturing companies of secure electronic payment terminals and point of sales systems in South Jacksonville!

 

Pay: $18 - 20 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm 

 

Summary

Repairing POS devices of multiple makes and models, ranging from basic to advanced repair solutions.

 

MS Office suite familiarity -Windows OS familiarity Preferred -Electronics Experience -Soldering Experience -Surface Mount experience -Cell Phone repair experience

Job Requirements

  • Troubleshooting and providing solutions to device issues. 
  • Maintaining high levels of ethical standards to protect customer data. 
  • Entering repair data for record-keeping purposes. 
  • Able to accurately and efficiently test, troubleshoot, repair electronic devices at SMD/IC/component level 
  • Maintain, manage, track, and log inventory of product in workstation and responsible work area 
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards 
  • Be able to read, interpret, understand, and follow blueprints, schematics, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, testing software on-screen prompts & instructions, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Be able to utilize production and maintenance tools and equipment such as proprietary testing system, electric screwdriver, compressed air system, ionizing air gun, torque gauge/tester, soldering station, heat plate, PCB rework station, testing system & equipment, label printer, electric scale, scanner, digital caliper Windows PC, etc.
