Key duties:

• Perform all tasks safely, using applicable PPE.
• Read the production board and blend sheets for instructions.
• Fill out all necessary paperwork correctly and completely.
• Operate extruders for maximum production with minimum scrap and downtown.
• Perform clean out from previous product. Input proper equipment set up.
• Bring raw materials to the extruder.
• Load feeder using the vacuum system.
• Make boxes as necessary.
• Label finished product boxes.
• Weigh boxes on a floor scale to ensure the exact weight.
• Put finished boxes in the finished product inspection area.
• Do screen changes when necessary.
• Daily housekeeping.
• Clean filters.
• Do moisture tests.
• Cross training as available.

Use tools such as forklift, hand tools, compressed air wand, broom shovel, trash hoppers, floor scales, moisture analyzer, ash oven, fiberglass system cranes and vacuum loaders.
