A Heat Treat Manufacturing client of ours in the Elyria, OH area is searching for an Iron Pourer.

Duties of an Iron Pourer:

• Prepare and draw molten metal from ladle for pouring into molds to make castings.
• Communicate with melt shop regarding temperature of the iron.
• Follow proper production procedures and safety regulations for processing and pouring iron.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure production conformity.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance as well as using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
• Experience in inspecting equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or defects.
• Ability to work in and around extreme heat.
• Experience operating forklift.
• High school diploma or GED, some college preferred.
