Experienced Maintenance Mechanics needed in Temecula, CA

Compensation: Starting at $28.00+

Job Description:

  •  Accountable for maintaining equipment availability through proactive, in-depth diagnosis and repair.

  • The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all manufacturing equipment, including injection molding machines, blow molding machines, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wraps.

  • The Maintenance Mechanic collaborates directly with machine operators, supervisors, preventative maintenance mechanics, and senior maintenance technicians to fix mechanical difficulties that develop throughout the course of the shift.

  • The Maintenance Mechanic makes recommendations to Sr. Mechanics and Management for resolving complicated and reoccurring problems on production equipment. Functions Utilize schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • At the facility, repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment.

  • Equipment modifications, lubrication, diagnostics, and operation in compliance with Niagara's stated processes Keep industrial control systems in good condition

  • Work individually and collaboratively with other team members to execute repairs safely and on time. May act as a stand-in for the production operator when needed.

  • Throughout the shift, create and report fixes.

  • Complete the appropriate paperwork for work orders and keep track of parts and material usage. Recognize and adhere to plant safety regulations, which include safe lifting procedures and machine usage. Personal Protective Equipment must be worn as necessary.

  • Attendance on a consistent and predictable basis is a critical function of the job

Job Requirements

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Manufacturing/Industrial background 

  • 1-2 years experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic
