Electric Assembler Job Details:

• The position can focus on different departments such as shielding and acoustic assembler. Associate has to be able to be train in both areas as needed. 
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports.
• Do work as assigned by supervisor
• Work in a team environment, be qualify conscious and strive for continuous quality improvement with emphasis on lean and 5s principles.
• Verify dimensions and check the quality or fit of particle board and sheet metal pieces to ensure adherence to specifications
• Slowly push the particle board into the glue machine. Lay sheet metal or rolling cart, as particle board exits the glue machine, use hooks to gently lay on sheet metal. Creating a panel. Repeating steps until the rolling chart is at desire capacity. Meeting daily production goal.
• With team members, lift glued panel into pressing machine to apply pressure to panel ensuring desire adhesion of particle board to sheet metal. 
• Quality check panel, by lifting and flipping panels inspecting for bubbles, scratched, dents. Clean panel with acetone removing any leftover glue.
•  Following blue prints, cut panel into specified dimensions for ceiling, floor, and walls.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis throughout a 10 to 12 hours work shift.
• Previous general laborer experience
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 year experience in manufacturing environment
• Knowledge using calipers and measuring square.
• Perform simple math (i.e. fractions and decimals).
• Experience using saws, grinders, circular saw and soldering gun.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior experience in simple electronic assembly.
