Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, fiberglass, or steel.
Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
Organize and stage multiple projects
Comply with all safety and health regulations
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Performs any combination of following assembly line tasks to
assemble and construct structural parts for custom windows, doors, and frame components, such as tops, bottoms, sides, panels, and molding in jigs or fixtures.
Proven experience as a carpenter, techniques, and methods of construction; specifically with windows and doors.
Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. stand/walk continuously and perform physical tasks
Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification strongly preferred.
Availability to work overtime hours, weekends and holidays preferred
