Experienced Material Handler
1st Shift - 12 Hour shift

Full Time, plus daily overtime!

Company in Anaheim is looking for Material Handlers to work 12-hours shift from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Understands and performs all Safety and Lockout procedures for the Fork truck.
• All safety hazards are reported to the Supervisor or Lead person.
• Complete a Fork truck inspection report and the beginning of each shift.
• Able to follow all procedures in place for loading units onto a trailer or flatbed.
• Ability to read and understand load tags and customer special request. (4-way strap, poly bag etc.)
• Understand shipment loads, and documentation of units loaded.
• Ability to utilize loading tablet and how to navigate around the system.
• Assist in the organization of the docks. Ensuring units of small orders are not being mixed with larger orders.
• Ensure empty propane tanks are in the rack and ready for refill.
• Operate the dock plates up and down and safeguarding open docks with chains.
• Comprehend instructions given by the supervisor and communicate with other shift employees all special instructions and issues that may arise.
• Report any maintenance related issues immediately to Supervisor, or Lead and give clear disposition of issue and how it effects fork trucks performance.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months relevant Material Handler experience
• Attention to detail
• Lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend and reach
• Basic math
• Basic computer skills
