Local manufacturing company that has been a leading manufacturer of line support clamps, brackets and electrical wire harness assemblies is looking for an Expeditor.  The Expeditor will facilitate the flow of work and materials in the company and will   oversee activities related to confirming accuracy of orders, and generate reports on work progress, completion date, production challenges and stock levels.

Expeditor Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the flow of material to and from the production floor is in line with production planner’s expectations and production line requirements.
• Maintains production status of scheduled assemblies and determines daily priority orders as needed.
• Report any quality problems or defects for correction action to be implemented and to avoid reoccurrence of the problem.
• Ability to work with the departments to expedite orders as needed.
• Ability to problem solve as needed issues that may arise.
• Perform inventory counts on a weekly basis.

Hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm

Location: San Fernando

Pay: $17- $18 depending on experience

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of Expeditor experience.
• 3  years of Inventory/Warehouse
• 3 years of Accounting/Bookkeeping exp. preferred.
• 3  years of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
• Ability to calculate simple math (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division)
