Set up, operate and adjust a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to layout and check the quality of machined components.
Performs CMM checks and analyze machined components at various stages of processing. Communicates results of the CMM report to the machinist/supervisor for corrective action when needed.
Provides training during 6-week training period
Crane or hoist experience
Tape measure and some mechanical knowledge is helpful
Overtime on weekend is possible

Job Requirements
Previous hands-on experience in CNC and conventional machining operations such as milling, drilling, boring, tapping, broaching.
Knowledge and experience in computer controlled operations
Operation of CMM’s with knowledge and use of programming languages such as Spectrum and PC-DMIS.
Prior experience with these programming languages is a plus
Must be able to work in a team environment, be receptive to change and have good organizational skills.
