• Pay: 16.00-20.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Location: Lubbock, Texas
• 1st Shift: M-F, 8am-5pm

Drill Press Operator Responsibilities:

• Operating Drill press.
• Reading and following blueprints and written planning.
• Running Saws, Routers, Planers, Sanders, and other common fabrication equipment.
• The ability to work independently and make decisions on type and style of tooling to be used is essential.
• Determines sequence of operations in a program.
• Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.

Job Requirements

• Previous Drill Press Operator Experience and or other fabrication equipment required.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings.
• Excellent reading comprehension skills
• Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry and physics
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of metal shop work.
