Are you mechanically inclined and know your way around industrial machines? Then Resource MFG has a job for you! Join the ranks of a well-established processing facility as a Maintenance Technician. As a maintenance technician you will help make sure the production machines are running smoothly ensuring productivity is continuously running and apply preventative maintenance.

The ideal maintenance technician will have good communication skills, self-motivation and reliability. This is a long-term opportunity that carries longevity, job security and full benefits. The schedule will consist of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant policies for safety and productivity.
• Support in Installation of mechanical equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations in a timely manner for an optimal production timeline.
• Complete periodic preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended upkeep schedule.
• Troubleshoot common issues with equipment and assist operators with getting back to a productive mode, ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Evaluate workspace safety on the production floor to ensure all staff is following guidelines with equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair or installation.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical equipment in operation.
• Remove and/or replace defective parts by dismantling using hand or power tools.
• Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock and informing supervisor when stock is low.
• Complete all mechanical room logs/call logbook each day.

Job Requirements

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Previous experience working in equipment maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of skilled trades, such as HVAC, electrical installations, and electric systems.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical systems and parts
• Able to work well with minimal supervision.
• Vision and potential to professional growth
• Strong ability to communicate in writing and speaking
• Bilingual - English/Spanish
