A manufacturing client of ours in Carthage, MO is searching for a 2nd shift Electrician. Pay is experience based. You will be task to diagnose and repair causes of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and/or plumbing malfunctions on all plant equipment while working at an efficient pace, meeting all quality expectations and working in a safe manner.

Duties of an Electrician:

•  Use of electrical skills / knowledge for maintenance of machinery and facility 
• Read electrical diagrams for maintenance, troubleshoot.
• Troubleshoot PLCs
• Follow safety practices during maintenance services including LOTO.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to read electrical diagrams, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems. 
• Must be familiar with machine control logic and control systems, PLC's and the ability to troubleshoot gearbox functions.
• General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, fabrication, welding, compressed air and boiler systems is required.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and scissor lift, lift a minimum of of 50 lbs and work in hot and cold environments.
• Will be required to follow standard safety practices in lockout-tagout, confined space entry and plant wide safety awareness.
