Description

We are currently in need of Maintenance Technicians at our clients site located in Cadillac, MI. This is a direct hire opportunity with a yearly salary of $48K, based on experience.

Duties of a Maintenance Technician includes: 

• Layout plan and perform new and repair work from blueprints and sketches
• Make standard shop computations relating to pressures, flow, strengths and material sizes.
• Perform machine operations to make simple parts, including welding, brazing, soldering, cutting on varied metal materials.
• Perform general facilities and grounds maintenance.
• Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance of equipment, systems and facilities.
• Detailed troubleshooting electrical and mechanical.
• Work with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks.
• Whatever else deemed necessary for smooth operation of the plant.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to perform physical tasks.
• Advanced mechanical understanding and aptitude.
• Good communication skills
• 4 years experience in related field
• Successful completion of hi-lo operation and certification.
• Able to work with minimal supervision from written and verbal communications.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work additional hours, any shift or day as required to maintain plant operations.
