Job Information Description Maintenance Lead Technician Responsibilities: Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily activities/objectives. Lead the Maintenance team in daily objectives (5S, PM’s, Repairs, etc) Learn the various production machines as an operator to gain a thorough understanding of the operational aspects of each component. Ensure and promote safe operation of equipment through engineering controls and best work practices. Ensure 5S initiatives are met both personally and departmentally. Inspect buildings, equipment, and equipment to identify and resolve any issues. Diagnose and repair faulty equipment and damaged structures. Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures. Lead/Assist in scheduled PMs and repairs to ensure timeliness and accuracy of repairs. Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment, addressing and correcting issues. Communicate issues and repairs with Maintenance Supervisor and Production Manager to ensure continuous improvement efforts are made where applicable. Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies. Fill in, as needed, to operate equipment in Machine Operator absence. Other duties as required. Job Requirements Maintenance Lead Technician Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar lead/supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and Web Browser) Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures, best practices, and techniques. Physically capable (able to lift 50lbs, kneel, crawl, and stand) and available to work overtime including weekends, and evenings. Effective problem-solving abilities.
