Job Information Description As a maintenance Supervisor, you'll need to: Demonstrate strong electro-mechanical proficiency. Work with specialized equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines Improve and Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults Diagnose breakdown problems Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly Carry out quality inspections on jobs Liaise with Production and Procurement departments as well as Maintenance colleagues Assist with specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment and apply 5S practices Monitor, minimize, and control maintenance downtime and Material costs Rapid problem solving - deals with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs in an efficient and timely fashion Improve health and safety policies and procedures, recommending and implementing approved Engineering controls Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines Other duties, as assigned, to assist with production needs Job Requirements What we are looking for: Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience with machining and metal fabrication (Production/Manufacturing setting is preferred) Strong electro-mechanical background Able to suggest and implement approved design changes to increase efficiency, through-put, and uptime. Capacity to understand a range of Supervising functions and procedures Ability to lead, train, and motivate others Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills Confidence to respond positively when under pressure Punctuality and Reliability Pay: Commensurate with Experience (DOE) Apply Now
