ResourceMFG is looking for a practical, hands-on CNC Programmer with at least 5 years’ experience located in Memphis MI.

CNC Mill Programmer / Machinist

Shift: 1st shift


Compensation: $25-30 per hour depending on experience


  • Create programs and setup complex jobs on various CNC Vertical Machining Centers with 3rd
  • Estimate: process steps, programming, setup, cycle time and tooling costs
  • Have a strong knowledge of machining, metalworking principles and assembly procedures
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production and QA personnel
  • Develop machining processes to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Responsible for ensuring strict adherence to all company manufacturing standards/methods and policies
  • Assist in resolution of manufacturing problems
  • Work directly with Engineering Manager and utilize in-house HAAS VMC’s with 4th and 5th Axis as well as HAAS CNC Lathes
  • Demonstrate consistent application of independent judgment

Job Requirements


  •  We are looking for a practical, hands-on CNC Programmer with at least 5 years’ experience
  • Multi axis experience is ideal
  • The perfect candidate will have experience with production milling, turning and/or turn/mill experience
  • It requires ‘hands on’ machining experience as well
  • 7 - 10 years of progressive experience in a machine shop environment
  • Experience operating manual and/or CNC machine tools as well as other shop fabrication equipment
  • Must have experience in programming (MasterCam), setting up and running CNC Milling machines
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret GD&T engineering drawings
  • Must have experience with machining of various metals
  • Must have experience and knowledge of cutting tool properties for proper selection of tools/holders/inserts, cutting tools, speeds & feeds
  • Requires knowledge of Prototype and Production work holding concepts for CNC milling & for conventional machining processes
  • Experience utilizing CAD/CAM software such as Solidworks, Unigraphics, Mastercam,
  • Requires a high level of problem analysis and solving
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office software applications
  • Ability to collaborate with others and communicate clearly and efficiently
