Local Mortuary Products Manufacturer in Azusa, CA is looking for a detail-oriented TIG Welder who works well in a team environment. Competitive pay, good benefits and a strong commitment to safety top the list of what this job has to offer.

• 7:00am-3:45pm
• Up to $20/Hour (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Apprenticeship, vocational training, and/or certification, a plus
• Assist in the shop
• Measure, cut, assemble, weld with TIG. 
• Fabrication
• All type of general work as needed within shop environment
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Machine set up
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal products
• Grinding and polishing finished products
• Work in a team environment
• Troubleshoot issues
• Meet production standards
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Testing and inspection of product

Job Requirements

• Able to read a tape measure
• Mathematical skills
• Understand decimals and fractions
• Shop helper experience is a plus
• Manufacturing background preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• High attention to detail
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus

• Minimum 1-2 years of TIG welding
