We are currently hiring a Graphic Design Tech for an established manufacturing company in the heart of McAllen.

Starting pay- $15.00-20.00 p/h D.O.E.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Graphic Design responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing finished art or computer files for printing and for the manufacturing of tooling.
Be creative, as demonstrated by a portfolio of design concepts.
Knowledge in pre-press, page layout, and file conversion.

Be proficient in the core IT skills on a PC working environment:

Corel Draw
Adobe Illustrator
Photoshop
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Although the use of CAD software will not be required, must be familiar with the principle of Computer Aided Design

Graphic Design requirements:

2-3 years experience in computer graphics design, preferably within a printing/publishing environment.
PC and Mac literate
Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and resolve artwork-to-printing issues in a way that enhances customer satisfaction.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to follow a work flow and manage multiple jobs.
