A client of ours in Cleveland, OH is searching for a 1st shift Electrical Maintenance Technician. The pay for this role varies based off experience. In this role you will be responsible for the complete mechanical repairs, making adjustments as needed, and have an advanced understanding of mechanical maintenance with the ability to troubleshoot problems.

Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Technician:

• Inspects equipment, tools and machinery for safety issues
• Requisitions parts and services
• Uses test equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose failures
• Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Repairs and replaces gages, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment

• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical failures:  presses, equipment, plumbing, etc.
• Lays out and assembles new machines and equipment

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED 
• Hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems
• Conveyor systems
• Blueprint reading
• Welding & fabricating 
• OSHA Basic
• Lock-out tag out procedures
• Safe use of hand and electrical tools

• Able to work at heights from 10 to 30 feet on ladders and platforms
• Lifting:  heavy (50 lbs without assistance)
• This position requires walking, standing, stooping, and bending
• High level of manual dexterity
