ResourceMFG has great opening for a Production Control Planner in Chatsworth, CA within the Aerospace industry!

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00
Hours: 1st Shift (7am – 3:30pm)
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Looking for a detailed-oriented and experienced Production Control Planner to create, modify, and manage production schedules. Monitor inventory levels, regularly provide production status updates to management, and facilitate timely delivery of products to customers. Closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.

Bring your material requirements planning experience and manage production deadlines. Ultimately, your excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills will ensure that production operations run smoothly.


First Year Success Factors: 

  • Cultivate a strong rapport and working relationships with key manufacturing staff and cross-functional partners
  • Leverage internal systems to access data analysis and insights to make data driven business decisions 
  • Drive continuous improvement to work processes for production and quality control
  • Comprehensive production planning to ensure production schedules for projects meet shipment forecast and project deliverables

Key Performance Deliverables: 

  • Prepare and distribute Manufacturing Release (Form 1184-1) for machine Shop, Fabrication and Assembly Departments
  • Write Purchase Requisition (Form 109-R) for purchased items
  • Coordinates with department supervisors or managers on status of assigned projects
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules 
  • Prepares production status and shortage reports on projects
  • Liaison between sales, engineering, and manufacturing to support on time shipments

Job Requirements



  • 3-5 years’ experience in production planning/control in Hydro/Mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Associate Degree preferred

Technical Competencies 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient Computer Skills (MS-Office, Excel a must, ERP system, M2M a plus)
