A large formulator and manufacturer of nutritional bar and functional powder products is seeking a Food Production Lead in Ontario, CA to join their team. 

Quick Hire Opportunity with great benefits such as 11 paid holidays, PTO, Health Benefits and 401k with 3% match.

$1,000 hiring incentive (paid in 2 installments $500 at 30 days and $500 at 60 days) upon good attendance, no safety issues and good performance. 

Schedule: Rotating work week schedule and must be open to working weekends. Anything worked after your 8th hour will be paid out as overtime. 

1st shift: 3am-3:45pm

2nd shift: 3pm-3:45am

Food Production Lead Job Description:

  • Under the authority of production supervisor, the senior lead ensures the efficient and safe management of manufacturing operation in accordance with the current procedures, specifications and GMP's to meet quality and achieve production objectives 
  • Owner of the proper execution of all changeover events, including the timely execution of all preparation activities, proper completion of sanitation tracking sheet, holding operators accountable to completing tasks with allocation time standards, and the escalation of any situations that could impact 100% changeover attainment
  • Ensure applicable employees have plan in place to receive the necessary training to perform their duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure employees comply with company timekeeping/meal/rest break policies
  • Ensure all employees are maintaining their tools of trade in a appropriate manner and address employees who frequently damage or loose such tools. 8. Ensure employees are managing allergens according to the regulations of the company's allergen program including proper use of colors-coded tools
  • Report any violations of company policy to production supervisor
  • Understand all Company SOP's and GMPS
  • Assist in other areas when needed 

Job Requirements

  • 1-year minimum Food Manufacturing Lead experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred 
  • Resume needed and interview with client
  • Previous background in food manufacturing/processing lead 
  • Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of sanitation service
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with Supervisor/Leads
  • Great attendance and punctuality
