ResourceMFG is hiring an experienced Industrial Customer Service rep for a worldwide leading authority in the design and manufacture of long-life overrunning clutches, backstops, bi-directional clutches and clutch couplings. We offer the broadest range of both sprag and ramp & roller type overrunning clutches and backstops available globally.

Customer Service Rep

Shift: 1st shift

Compensation: $22 per hour

The CSR will serve as the primary contact for Industrial Customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review, research as necessary, and respond to customer requests
  • Generates quotations for customer enquiries, using price lists, and coordinating input from management, production team and sales force as appropriate
  • Refers technical and department-specific requests to appropriate personnel
  • Manages handling of commercial customer orders, from order entry to providing shipping info and documents
  • Coordinates and supports production on specific order requirements (i.e., quality approvals, special labeling, line releases)
  • Perform customer service department daily/weekly functions, as outlined in the procedures
  • Provides order status to customer requests (external and internal)
  • Investigates and reports on production capabilities for new orders and expediting of existing orders. Provides production VOC prioritization of customer orders
  • Coordinates requests for schedule relief, based on production capabilities
  • Manages customer rebuild/return requests and orders
  • Coordinate’s shipping documents and requirements
  • Manage customer complaints as arises, liaising with appropriate teams, issuing the customer perception report as necessary, and informing the correction actions taken to the customer
  • Safeguards trade secrets in accordance with Company policy.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • A minimum of one year customer service experience
  • Work experience in Manufacturing is preferred
  • Experience with EQMS (IQS) and AS9100 standards

Physical Demand and Work Environment:

  • Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
