ResourceMFG is seeking an experienced Pad Printing Technician for a supplier to Tier 1 and 2 automotive companies as well as many other industries. Since 1988, we've specialized in taking your company's non-core activities and making them our core business in the areas of: Contract Assembly Services, Plastic Injection Molding, Warehousing, Pad Printing, Hot Stamping, Packaging, Parts Kitting, and Containment Sorting.

Pad Printing Lead Technician:

Shift- 1st shift

Compensation- $20-30 per hour depending on experience

Position Responsibilities

  • Able and capable to manage production and approx. 12 pad printing operators.
  • Ability to lead and develop others through support, training, coaching etc.
  • Responsible to ensure that direct reports perform at a level that meets production and quality requirements, actively participates in continuous improvement activities and properly understands and ensures completion of all reporting requirements (downtime, attainment, scrap, labor efficiency, FPY, SQL) on time.
  • Take all necessary steps to ensure that their production area has the resources on a timely basis, including but not limited to, labor, raw materials and components.
  • Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, get hands dirty when needed
  • Escalates production issues according to policy for example: downtime, repetitive quality failures.
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with all other departments.
  • Drives safety in work areas and takes immediate action to correct unsafe conditions or actions; leads accident investigations.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Pad Printing: production supervisor in manufacturing environment Pad printing preferred
  • Proven history of extensive knowledge of all aspects of Pad Printing.
  • Knowledgeable/experienced with latest pad printing industry technology.
  • Knowledgeable/experience with automation/automated work cells.
  • 1 year of ERP/MRP Knowledge
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills to manage, prioritize and deal with many issues at one time.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
