At Resource MFG we are looking for a Deburr Setup/Operator.

Pay will be up to 22 Per hour.

Schedule: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Monday - Friday

Position Summary: The deburrer will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery that grinds, smooths and buffs machined parts. Specific duties of this job entails grinding and removing excess material — known as burrs — from surfaces during the post-production process. Hand and power tools are also used to smooth burrs and the sharp edges of metal, Reviewing blueprints and work orders to understand the desired shape and size of a finished product. You will visually inspect and compare raw materials and manufactured components to a template of what the pieces should look like when finished. Objects are periodically measured with micrometers and gauges. Deburring tools are used to sandblast, clean and polish the work piece until any flaws are corrected. A deburrer smooths edges and sides of manufactured parts, typically metal components, either manually or with a machine. As a deburrer, you inspect and finish equipment parts to ensure they fit properly into the machinery according to the specifications

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 Years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, concentrate, and pay close attention to detail. .
  • Prior experience utilizing various hand tools and other deburring equipment preferred.
  • Proven ability to recognize and remove burrs in metal parts.
  • Prior detailed manufacturing work utilizing a microscope, hand tools or other micro-manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Blueprint reading skills desired.
  • Basic Windows and MS Office skills.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
