We have direct hire openings for a Production Manager in Everett, WA! This is a 1st shift position. 

A manufacturer of high quality framed mirrors in Everett is looking for a Production Manager that can lead the production staff in the areas where they assemble mirrors with the different styles of frames that are wood and metal.

Our client is looking for someone with a background in the metal or glass industries, or a similar type of production that relates to mirror manufacturing or assembly. 

Be on our client’s payroll on DAY 1 with this direct hire opportunity! 

Pay and Schedule Information:

  • Pay: $85k-$95k/annually
  • Schedule: 5 am-3:30 pm; Monday-Thursdays with overtime on Fridays when requested 

Job Duties of the Production Manager:

  • Ensure all production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner, within all quality parameters
  • Monitor daily production and utilize KPI’s to show progress towards daily and monthly targets
  • Setting daily targets with departmental supervision
  • Implement and develop lean principles, KPIs, and visual management for their job shop manufacturing and assembly environment
  • Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality
  • Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to obtain maximum production efficiency
  • Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems
  • Address quality problems, production delays, or bottlenecks with the planning and leadership team
  • Drive step function improvements in productivity, cost reduction, plant output, capacity and waste while continuing to deliver quality products complete and on-time to the customer




Job Requirements

Job Requirements of the Production Manager:

  • 5 years of leadership experience as a manager or supervisor in manufacturing, working either with glass, metal, or assembly production
  • Have strong problem solving skills to conduct root cause analysis reports
  • Be able to read blueprints, identify components on a BOM, and interpret production work orders
  • Understand structured problem solving to be proactive as a manager
  • Maintain production and quality control standards
  • Have a background in project management, lean manufacturing, kaizen, and 5s process improvement
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP software such as Epicor
