We are now looking for a Manufacturing Technician for our client in the PCB Manufacturing Industry located in San Jose!
Pay Rate: $25-$30
Shift Time: 8am - 5pm
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
•Comply with ESD Handling Procedure to protect electronic parts and assemblies.
•Become trained and experienced in lower level sub-assembly build and testing requirements.
•Manage rework activities, non-conformances and MRB inventory reduction efforts.
•Become trained and experienced in more complex higher level assembly build and test requirements. Understand the basic functions of sub-assemblies and higher level instruments and conduct investigative and root cause analysis for failures.
•Conduct MFG DHR reviews and release of assembled and tested products.
•Assist with the development and revisions to manufacturing assembly and test procedures
•Debug and troubleshoot programs on equipment with HMI and/or software UI
•Perform daily equipment qualification and readiness release for production.
•Find efficiencies in to the process to reduce the cycle time.
•Will be fully responsible to train new operators on all SUB assemblies and TLA

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•2-3 years related experience in electronics manufacturing TLA
•Experience with fluid dispensing (glue, thermal compound, solder paste..etc), or conformal coating
•Basic Knowledge of PCB chips and components
•Basic knowledge of Workmanship IPC-A-610
•Solid understanding of AC and DC electronic wiring (i.e., current/voltage rating, circuit breakers, and safety precautions) is a big plus.
•Knowledge and experience in the installation and configuration of PC based software.
•Knowledge of hand and powered tools. Also some custom made tools
•Ability to read schematics/diagrams and basic computer skills with Word and Excel.
•Good working knowledge of electronic components.
