In Battle Creek, MI one of our clients specializing in providing a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to global customers is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst. Pay for this role ranges from $75K - $85k annual salary based off experience.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Plan for Every Part (PFEP), the cycle count program, physical inventories organization, and ERP utilization and systems improvement.

Schedule: 1st shift 7AM - 3PM

Duties of a Senior Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Develop and maintain the PFEP.
  • Work with the material handling group to develop and maintain a home for every part.
  • Implement items necessary to improve and maintain MAFACT 4.2, 4.3, & 4.4
  • Ensure that storage locations are identified with location, part #, min, and max.
  • Manage the inventory associates and the cycle count program
  • Track and publish inventory metrics. Identify root cause and corrective action for production items missed.
  • Work closely with production teams to determine long term strategic plans.
  • Identify and resolve issues with the ERP system.
  • Monitor customer releases and ensure the system has the most up to date information.
  • Investigate and correct material variances. Drive root cause and corrective action of recurring issues.
  • Reconcile outsource inventory for accurate valuation and payment.
  • Initiate and enact countermeasures for inventory KPI misses.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement to reduce lead times and inventory investment.
  • Identify, initiate and lead continuous improvement activities for inventory efficiency.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to set and maintain stocking levels to ensure availability and optimize floor space utilization.
  • Coordinate planning and inventory-related aspects for new product introductions and other engineering changes to ensure on-time-delivery.
  • Develop performance objectives with all team members to support plant level SQDC goals. Track progress regularly and determine course corrections as needed.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations.
  • Identify training and developmental needs for all team members.
  • Promote and facilitate Open Door process and Fair Treatment
  • Participate in Continual Improvement activities
  • Adheres to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of inventory control, operations, materials management experience
  • Exceptional project management skills 
  • Display high attention to detail and understands why this is critical and detail matters.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, suppliers and customers
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact
  • Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
  • Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to work flexible hours supporting three (3) shifts
  • Excellent understanding of personal computers and MS Office, CMS and customer supplied software
