Account Executive

Midland, Texas

Description

This Account Executive role is a sales position focused on maintaining and growing a well-established territory located in and around West Texas. As one of our Account Reps, you will be helping clients select and design play equipment for their new commercial playground. In addition to commercial playgrounds you will have the opportunity to market pre-fab all steel park pavilions, soft shade structures, outdoor recreational seating and bleachers. The bulk of our customers consist of rural school districts, small city governments and churches so you will need to have a passion for this type of client base.

Our team puts a lot of value in activity. You need to be comfortable spending 1 to 2 days a week on the road, marketing to your territory as well as additional time spent focused on follow up emails and phone calls inside the office.

The second is that since we work mostly with small town organizations it goes without saying that great customer service is HUGE for us. We fully expect our entire team to treat our customers as if they were family. Requirements:

  • YOU MUST HAVE A SERVANT HEART. Please don’t apply if you don’t like doing things for others within the normal course of your everyday life.
  • No prior sales experience needed, we love to teach!
  • You must be someone who relates well to a wide range of people.
  • You must be comfortable talking to decision makers within local governments, school districts and churches.
  • Strong conversational skills with customers and prospects, and the ability to ask for the sale
  • Willingness to be coached and to share your ideas with the team
  • Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational skills
