ResourceMFG is accepting resumes for a Intl. Trade Compliance Analyst to join our client's team in NW San Antonio area. This is a Temporary/Contract opportunity with an established and reputable oil & gas company. This experience presents a great opportunity which could lead to permanent employment, growth, and advancement! Not a remote job!

Duties required to support this client international trade compliance and customs functions, including but not limited to, data collection and analysis, reporting, recordkeeping, compliance assistance and payment of import and export-related taxes, duties and fees.

• Assists with import, export and related filing processes (with numerous regulatory agencies), while simultaneously analyzing such processes for solutions to increase operating and cost efficiencies.

• Helps administer post-transaction reviews and audit processes for both import and export transactions.

• Assists with maintaining and indexing import and export-related files, processing incoming and outgoing agency-related correspondence and other notices.

• Ensures timely payment of broker and other invoices related to secondary costs associated with import/export operations.

• Interfaces with freight forwarders, relevant agencies, customs brokers, external customers, service providers, consultants, and internal business units on all import and export-related issues.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fundamentals of and ability to produce spreadsheets, graphs, and word processing (for meaningful reporting results).
• Ability to work well with all other department personnel.
• Great communications skills and an ability to present information or respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies, internal customers, and management.
• Well-organized organized, highly motivated and detail-oriented.
• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Must be able to regularly work on a full time basis at the assigned location and arrive to work at scheduled start time and work after-hours (evenings and/or weekends) as the job requires
• Must be fluent (speak, read, write) in English & Spanish
• Must be able to work in a collaborative, on-site work environment, which will include participation in unscheduled discussions and troubleshooting on an as needed basis.
