!!!!PROLOGISTIX IS HIRING!!!!

REGULAR WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday - $15 per hour

5:00 am - 1:30 pm

OT required as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience sewing on industrial sewing machines (single needle and overlock). Job responsibilities are as follows:

• Ability to sew material at required productivity rates
• Inspect to ensure quality product
• Effectively operate various sewing machines and be able to conduct routine sewing machine maintenance such as: thread needles, changing needles, bobbin changes and oiling machines
• Move cut goods to work area as necessary
• Notify cutter of defects in fabric and workmanship
• Communicate work material shortages to supervisor

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position is a seated position for a majority of the day. This position requires lifting 25 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds, therefore proper lifting technique is required. Position may require seating and occasional standing, bending, climbing, crawling, crouching, kneeling, overhead lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, squatting and twisting. The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas and requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields.
