Job Title: Shipping/Packaging Clerk

Shift: M-F 7am-3pm

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Job Description: Ensures finished products are packaged and stored in a safe and quality-assured manner and prepared to be shipped to meet consumer needs. Prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Job Duties:

• Determine priority shipments by checking finished goods work orders against customer shipment requests. 
• Use ERP system (manufacturing software) to identify product orders and specified packaging instructions. 
• Assess shipments using FIFO (First In-First Out) procedures, checking inventory for finished products ready for shipment.
• Locate packaging materials to package finished products for shipment and/or inventory. 
• Package finished products in a safe and quality-assured manner using ESD knowledge and sound handling techniques.
• Ship finished products using specified delivery service per customer requests. 
• Store excess packaged finished products in inventory for future shipments Education and Skill

Job Requirements

• Be able to stand and sit 8 hours a day 
• Attention to detail is a must 
• Must have good phone etiquette 
• Must be able to handle small parts 
• Must have good verbal and written skills 
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot problems and good problem solving skills 
• Must be dependable and have a good attendance and work ethic
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
