Warehouse clerk needed to join a local food manufacturing company that thrives in providing freshness and quality. The warehouse clerk will perform daily task associated with food and ingredient warehousing and logistic operations. Warehouse is performance to hire.

Warehouse Clerk duties:

• Read food production schedules, food supply and equipment orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Receive incoming food supplies, materials, or equipment and verifies orders against invoices. Note discrepancies as necessary.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for food supplies, materials, or equipment and distributes items as instructed.
• Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Load/unload tractor trailers with use of manual or electric pallet jack.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution and inventory within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.

Hours: 8 am – 4:30 pm or 7 am -3:30 pm

Job Requirements

• Ability to work Weekends and overtime
• Able to work in a cold environment for prolonged periods of time
• Able to do heavy lifting
• Required minimum adding/subtracting skills
• Able to read small fonts (10-point type)
• Able to pass forklift training and operate forklift and pallet jack safely without supervision
• Certified to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
