Description

We have a direct hire opening for a Counter Sales Rep in San Jose at store that sells a variety of metal products to customers in the manufacturing industry! This is a day shift position!

Assist walk-in customers with their questions, help them to get the right products, take payment, and ensure great service.

Be on our client’s payroll on Day 1 with this DIRECT HIRE opportunity! 

Schedule and Pay Information:

• 1st Shift: 8 am-5 pm; Mon-Fri
• Pay: $23-$26/hour DOE

Job Duties of the Counter Sales Rep:

• Help customers face to face or by phone with their questions about metal products
• Gain product knowledge about the styles and shapes metal comes in and the shop services that customize the products
• Count inventory and ensure it matches the records in the system
• Order new materials and supplies when they are running low or out of stock
• Receive payment from customers to complete transactions
• Make the store presentable to walk in customers 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements of the Counter Sales Rep:

• At least 1 year of Customer Service experience in a store that carries industrial supplies such as parts, paint, fasteners, etc.
• Have good customer service skills
• Be interested to learn about the metal supply industry and the customers that use the products
• Use Microsoft Office software and other systems to help customers
