Cosmetics Manufacturer in Chatsworth, CA is looking for a Sr. Chemist! Full time position

Hours 8am-5pm M-F Pay is DOE

• Must have Manufacturing background experience.

• Must have a degree in the desired field.

• Must be familiar with the cosmetics industry.

• Ability to replicate formulas

• Follow SOPs, create and adjust as needed.

Job Requirements

• The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS or BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences or related fields and 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• A true team player with strong communication, interpersonal skills as well as a demonstrated ability to multitask and work within a dynamic organizational structure.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptualization skills necessary.  Displays a sense of urgency and initiative with creativity and flexibility.
• Familiarity with the personal care market, knowledge of OTC and cosmetic regulations, production scale up experience desired.
• Experience with and understanding of skin chemistry and basic clinical methodologies used to support product and new claims development preferred.
