Description

We are seeking an entry level Baker Assistant to assist with large batch baking for restaurant and specialty desserts!

This role does not require experience.  Interested candidates will receive on the job training!

So if you have an interest in the culinary arts come join our state of the art manufacturing facility!

We currently have 1st and 2nd shift.

1st shift $17.00

2nd shift $18.50

Responsibilities:

  • Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, etc.
  • Decorating and displaying finished products.
  • Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
  • Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
  • Track ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.
  • Monitor the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.
  • Report low baked goods stock to the Baker in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy baked goods counter and performing other duties on request.
  • Clean the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.

Job Requirements

  • Basic math skills for measuring purposes
  • Must have a sense of urgency
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks
  • Standing for 8 hours 
  • Must pay attention to detail
  • Slip resistant shoes
  • No fake nails, no fake eye lashes, no nail polish, 
  • no jewelry, no piercings
