Deutz In Pendergrass is  hiring! Walk In Interviews (Ask For Kevin Garrett)  between 11am to 2pm - Seeking experienced Assemblers/Disassemblers/Sit-Down Forklift/Material Handlers with Shipping/Receiving knowledge and Pickers...

Pay:$15.50 to $19hr Based upon experience

Shift/Days - 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am - 2:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm

Overtime Available

Physical and Environmental Elements:

• Warehouse environment.  Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, and oil.  No A/C.

We also follow CDC guidelines for Covid Safety Precautions: mask requirements, temperature checks, cleaning supplies, etc.

Bonus of $160 for perfect attendance!!!

1 PAID DAY OFF every month!!! 8 hours of Paid Time Off Per Month

Job Requirements

Job Summary:

Assemble diesel engines according to established procedure and instructions on the Value Add Assembly Lines.

Essential Functions:

• Perform complete assembly of industrial diesel engines while following all company instructions and guidelines.
• Use lift and hoist equipment to move engines and parts.
• Use care and attention when handling engine components.
• Skillfully use hand, air and electric power tools in the assembly of engines
• Skillfully use torque tightening tools such as torque wrenches and power angle drivers.
• Skillfully use typical measurement tools used in the assembly of engines: micrometers, calipers, indicators, and the like.
• Maintain attention to detail under varying circumstances.
• Maintain neat, clean, and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience/Training/Education:

• Experience in a manufacturing (assembly) environment
• Experience with IC engines (preferred)
• Basic computer skills

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of and experience with industrial engines and components
• Knowledge of and experience with industrial engine assembly
• Knowledge of and experience in manufacturing environments
• HS Education or equivalent
• SAP knowledge preferred
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry weights up to 50 lbs.

• Continuous exposure to typical engine manufacturing environments. No A/C.
