Quality Assurance, Supplier Management and Materials Assistant

Salary and Shift Information:

  • Pay: $25/hr
  • Shift: M-F 8 am – 5 pm

Primary Responsibilities and Duties of the Job:

  • Participate in regular supplier approval team meetings
  • Creating risk evaluation docs with RD&I PMs and Procurement
  • Creating Q Info record screen shots for high/medium risk suppliers upon SAP changes (e.g., changed from Evaluation to Approved, changed approved through date, etc.) and routing for approval (verification) in Regulus
  • Ensuring all items needed for supplier approval are obtained based on risk evaluation docs
  • Routing docs in Regulus and filing copies in SQM and/or hard copy folders
  • Creating high risk materials statements and nitrosamine statements for product annual review
  • Performing periodic assessments of suppliers
  • Conducting quarterly follow-up with QA Project managers for projects moving into validation within the next 12 months
  • Assist supplier auditor (securing date, audit prep, audit, audit report, CAPA follow up)
  • Assisting with annual supplier audit schedule for coming year
  • Issuing Notes to Management (NTM) for suppliers that will not allow site audits (rare)
  • Conducting quarterly follow-ups with suppliers for outstanding Critical/Major CAPAs
  • Uploading supplier audit reports into MasterControl
  • Assist in creating and revising annual plans and audit reports

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
  • High attention to detail and inquisitive
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc
  • Works well with others
  • Accepts responsibility for personal actions and respects confidentiality
  • Follows written/verbal direction and accepts/supports decisions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with aggressive deadlines
  • Demonstrates decision-making and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), when applicable

Working Conditions:

  • Requires working an eight (8) hours day (Monday-Friday)
  • May be required to work occasional overtime when warranted
