ResourceMFG has a great opportunity for a 2nd shift Chemist within a cosmetics company in Chatsworth, CA. 

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 DOE

Hours: 2^nd shift  (3:30pm - 12am)

Monday to Friday: plus overtime and weekends if needed

Summary: Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Stability Program. This person will comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Laboratory Safety and any regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides sample/study management including communication with other departments to obtain samples and for pulling of samples at the appropriate time points.
• Prepares and ships stability samples to contract laboratories for testing
• Enters test results from inhouse and contract laboratories into the stability study management systems.
• Creates stability reports for internal and external (client requests) use.
• Reviews and updates the stability program SOP as needed. Updates the shelf life list.
• Provides compliance support by reviewing for accuracy data.
• Supports stability chamber maintenance by working with third party contractors and site maintenance personnel, maintaining and reviewing environmental charts and log sheets and responding to chamber related events.
• Provides support for installation, operational, and performance qualifications activities of chambers.
• Supports collection of stability information during internal, external and regulatory inspections.
• Executes work in compliance with cGMPs and departmental SOPs
• Reports any issues including storage chamber excursions that have the potential to compromise product quality

Supplemental Responsibilities:

• Can work with minor supervision and able to work independently. Need to be a great team player.
• Perform other assignments, duties and special projects as assigned by QA/QC Manager or designee

Judgement:

This position requires ability to make clear and concise decisions in limited period of time. Must be able to perform multiple task to effectively reach desired goals.

Communication and Interface:

This position interfaces mainly with QA/QC Staff, R&D and Operations. Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, due to the high level of interface and position responsibilities. Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science or equivalent coursework and 2+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated ability for accurate recordkeeping, thorough documentation, attention to detail, and efficient organization of records.
• Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and timelines and handle multiple priorities.
