Bander Operator needed for 3rd shift 

We currently have an opening for a Bander Operator at our Columbus, GA Facility.  We are looking for a motivated individual who can function in a flexible, fast paced production environment. Job Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unit enters centering device and is centered and straightened automatically.
• Unit then moves from centering device onto belt and stops at operator preparation station.
• Operator verifies unit load tag matches manufacturing Order and product.
• With belt stopped, operator arranges load tags on designated sides of unit following load tag procedure, places correct dunnage on top of unit, and exits belt area.
• Operator verifies in KIWI correct banding pattern and enters into bander computer.
• Operator then presses load release button to move unit to bander for strapping.
• Operator then waits for next unit to enter area and repeats procedure.
• Operator must replace strapping as needed
• Operator must keep work area clean and orderly.
• Lockout procedures must be followed as specified in Safety Manual and operators must sign off on all JSA’s and Lockout Procedures a minimum of every six months.
• Operator is responsible for Keeping dunnage at the bander.
