Silk Screen Print Operator

Location: Houston, TX 77025

Pay rate: $17 / 2nd shift 2 pm - 10:30 pm (Training shift: 12 pm - 8 pm)

Operator must be able to set up printer (various models), review and adjust machine, and maintain screen quality.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Be comfortable operating machinery
• Load and unload screens from machine
• Supervise jobs as they print looking for proper registration - having a great eye for detail is important
• Screen Making & Reclaiming
• Maintain production and quality by inspecting random production samples
• Maintain quality by inspecting the work of team members
• Ensures press operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Maintain clean & tidy workspace
• Perform tasks by following instructions and adhere to all safety rules without exception
• Effectively communicate with other team members
• Delivering parts to work areas and recording and communicating inventory levels.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Have a clear and good vision to see print quality, colors and registration
• Screen making and reclaiming experience
• Screen printing experience
• Positive attitude, team player
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
• Understand and apply Lean manufacturing tools & principles
