ResourceMFG is Now Hiring Machinists for a Global Manufacturing Company!

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews complex shop prints or instructions to understand specifications of output
  • Completes set ups and operates manual and/or CNC equipment to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
  • May operate more than one machine, in close proximity, during longer workpiece cycle time
  • Plans a sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Performs precision machining operations on manual and CNC equipment as required by the part configuration and/or specification
  • Monitors output to ensure conformance and consistency with specifications
  • May install machined parts in machines and equipment, and test operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance
  • Ensure quality specifications are met through use of various precision measuring tools
  • Performs routine machine maintenance, lubricating, oiling, cleaning, and minor repairs/calibrations according to applicable company and manufacturer operating standards

Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 5:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $23.94/hr

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of a variety of machining concepts, practices, and procedures including machining using close tolerances and tooling
  • Ability to review and interpret work order bill of materials, job allocations, and customer orders
  • Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, overhead cranes, and lift trucks
  • Ability to use existing tooling and fixtures for machining workpieces
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, apply basic trigonometry and geometry concepts
  • Proficiency in a variety of software programs
  • May require intermediate understanding of programming
  • Prefer 3 or more years related experience and or training; certification from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
