Quality Tech 

SUMMARY:

It is the primary function of the Quality Technicians to perform and monitor all phases of the Quality process flow. This includes, but is not limited to the following Performing all phases of:

1. Receiving Inspection
2. First Article Inspection
3. In-Process inspection
4. Final Inspection

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs all phases of inspection: first article, in-process, and receiving inspection using precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge, optical comparators, and others.
• Must be able to disposition and discuss if products are acceptable or rejectable.
• Performs final inspection and approves or rejects products for shipments through verification of all processes and requirements required by customers’ purchase orders.
• Performs floor audits and verifies that in-process control checks are performed at established frequencies, documentation is properly filled out and instructions are being followed.
• Reports isolate and identify suspect and nonconforming products and out-of-control conditions.
• Scans and files quality records; assists in internal calibration and other quality functions.
