Job Requirements

• Build crates/containers for outgoing shipments: determine the appropriate style of crate needed for each item. Measure items and cut materials needed to build crates. Assemble crates using pneumatic nail guns, screw guns and staplers. Protect items from damage during shipping. Mark crates with shipping information and stage for pick up.
• Print shipping lists to attach to crates.
• Assist with final assembly: assemble faces and retainers into signs. Apply zip tracks rails to faces. Do minor repairs, adjustments and touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain tools and work areas: conduct daily and weekly maintenance of all tools as needed. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain safety. Restock materials as needed. Inform Team Lead when raw materials are needed to keep stock levels up.
• Load trucks: determine and/or identify the crates shipping out for the day and which carriers will be picking up. Operate forklift to load crates onto trucks. Sign shipping documents to give to drivers.
