Description

Remedy is looking for a Labeling Specialist at a biomedical company in South Jacksonville!

 

Pay: $20 - $25 per hour

Shift: Part-time for now (20 hours per week) - No weekends required!

 

Summary

The role will have a focus on the development and maintenance of product labeling. This position is responsible for laying out, designing, inspecting, and ordering labels that comply with industry and government regulations. This position will design artwork that comply with all rules regarding warnings, proper directions, safety, and other information.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred experience in: Developing medical device labeling in compliance with industry and government regulations (FDA/EU/AU).
  • Preferred experience in: Adobe Illustrator.
  • Create and update medical device labeling following FDA/EU/AU guidelines.
  • Order and manage labels from contract supplier.
  • Support timely release of final label artwork to the development team for approval.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations for UDI/GTIN label information.
  • Work with Engineering, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, and Quality to resolve and close label issues.
  • Ensure symbology meets the requirements outlined in ISO 15223 and ISO 20417 for all product labeling.
  • Develop, implement, and verify barcodes in accordance with GS1 and HIBCC standards.
  • BS in a medical or technical field including labeling, printing, graphic design.
