Description

We are seeking a maintenance technician for a manufacturer in Sealy, Tx. The duties listed below are not intended to be a complete list of all the required duties, but are intended to give a general overview of the jobs requirements. Duties and responsibilities are - 

• Responsible to keep management informed of any plant maintenance issues.
• Repair and maintenance of all plant equipment; primarily equipment and areas.
• Actively support and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Must have ability to troubleshoot issues and repair as necessary.
• Prefer to have welding, electrical and plumbing knowledge
• Ensure repairs and maintenance work has a minimal effect on production time.
• Follow all company GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
• Attends required training.

Job Requirements

Requirements -

• 0 -2 years.
• Reading, writing and analytical skills are required Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
• 1. Position is active. On the plant floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine.
• 2. May need to move equipment occasionally.
• 3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
• 4. Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. .
• 5. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees s Fahrenheit . May handle product 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to all chemicals used in food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
