If you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a great opportunity on 1st or 2nd shift, then this is the opportunity for you! Our client, located North West side of Grand Rapids, are in need of skilled CNC Machinist. Hourly pay for this position starts out at $18-25+ an hour, but will go up based on skill and experience. 

Candidates will produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Duties of a CNC Machinist include:

• Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving parts programs
• Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices.

Job Requirements

• Previous Manufacturing experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience
